As they share different events, trials, and sufferings in their lives and how God worked in their lives that they do not exaggerate or brag that would bring glory to themselves and not Jesus. For them to examine their motives.  It’s all about Jesus! Jesus died, was buried and resurrected for our sins.

 

2 Timothy 2:21

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

 

Psalms 93:5a

Thy testimonies are very sure

 

Psalms 25:10

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
